If you have the AL-KO multi-tool MT 40, you can easily convert the basic unit into a pole cutter with the CSA 4020 attachment. Thanks to the tool-free quick-change system, the attachment can be attached quickly - and the tree trimming can begin.
The high-quality 20 cm bar with cutting chain allows you to easily cut even thicker branches without tilting, jamming or breaking the chain. It allows you to work overhead without getting tired and gentle on your body - it is supported by the carrying strap included in the delivery package.
Thanks to the battery operation of the base unit, there is a long range with great freedom of movement without worrying about annoying cables. This is especially beneficial when working overhead and on ladders. In addition, the electric motor is significantly lighter than a comparable gasoline engine and allows for quiet, emission-free and low-maintenance operation at any time of the day.
When disassembled, both the MT 40 base unit and the CSA 4020 attachment can be transported and stored, saving a lot of space.

The durable cutting chain, with a cutting length of 20 cm and a cutting thickness of 10 cm, allows you to get the job done quickly while handling it easily. The almost vibration-free, battery-powered electric motor of the latest generation also contributes to the precise cutting result.
Thanks to the spindle tube extension included in the delivery, you can extend the pole cutter by 70 cm and then reach a working height of up to 4 m.
You can work for up to 30 minutes on a single charge of the 36 V lithium-ion 40 V/5 Ah batteries in the MT 40 base unit. An empty battery can be charged in about 2 hours.
