If you have an AL-KO MT 40 multi-tool, simply convert the basic unit into a cordless hedge trimmer with the HTA 4045 attachment. Thanks to the tool-free quick-change system, the bit can be attached very quickly - and the hedge cutting can begin. The counter-rotating safety knife guarantees the greatest possible protection against accidents and ensures perfect enjoyment in the garden and in the garden.
With a low-vibration attachment, precise cutting work is simple and effortless. Thanks to the battery operation of the base unit, you have absolute freedom of movement when working with the device without worrying about annoying cables. The included carrying strap also helps you manage the hedge trimmer without tiring. It is quiet, emission-free and low-maintenance in operation, and can therefore be operated independently of certain rest periods.
In disassembled form, both the MT 40 base unit and the HTA 4045 attachment can be transported and stored, saving a lot of space.

The 45 cm long counter-rotating safety knife has a cutting width of 20 cm. It is diamond ground and its sharpness facilitates precise and powerful cutting. Getting stuck or misunderstanding thick branches can be safely avoided - your rapid progress and the risk of accidents.
Thanks to the included spindle tube extension, you can extend the hedge trimmer by 70 cm and then reach a working height of up to 3.5 m.
With one battery charge from the 36 V lithium-ion battery in the 40 V/5 Ah basic device MT 40, you can work for up to 75 minutes - ideal for the home garden. An empty battery can be charged in about 2 hours, so you can work without interruptions using a spare battery.
